- After approval, reimbursement is made into the student’s bank account.
- Principals of government institutions are the approving officers.
- Rent above the prescribed limit must be borne by the student.
- Failure or postponement of exam results makes students ineligible for the following year.
Benefits
- Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and Ujjain: ₹2,000/- per student per month.
- District headquarters: ₹1,250/- per student per month.
- Tehsil and development block level: ₹1,000/- per student per month.
Eligibility
- Applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
- Regular student in government or recognized non-government college.
- Must not be admitted to any government hostel.
- Annual family income must be within Post Matric Scholarship limit (currently ₹6,00,000/-).
- College and permanent residence must not be in the same local body area.

Registration
- Step 1: Visit “State Scholarship Portal 2.0”.
- Step 2: Click “Register yourself”.
- Step 3: Read guidelines and click Continue.
- Step 4: Fill details (Category, State, Name, DOB, etc.).
- Step 5: Submit to get Student Application ID.
Apply
- Step 1: Visit portal and click Login.
- Step 2: Enter Application ID, Password, and Captcha.
- Step 3: Select scheme and enter details (Samagra ID, Aadhaar, Bank, etc.).
- Step 4: Upload photo, signature, and documents; click submit.
