Description

Implemented by the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa, this scheme provides financial assistance to Bhajani, Choir, and Cultural Groups for the purchase of Musical Instruments of their choice to preserve Goa’s cultural heritage.

Benefits

  • Lumpsum grants / financial assistance to the maximum extent of ₹ 15,000/- per Group/ Institution.
  • Restricted to the purchase of Musical Instruments only.

Eligibility

  • The Mandal/ Group/ Institution/ Troupe should consist of at least 10 members.
  • Should be conducting regular musical performances (bhajans, choir, folk).
  • Should not have already received the benefits of this scheme.

Application Process

Offline

  • Step 1: Visit the Directorate Of Art & Culture, Panaji.
  • Step 2: Obtain the proforma application form.
  • Step 3: Fill mandatory fields and attach self-attested documents.
  • Step 4: Submit to ACO-II, Directorate of Art & Culture, Panaji.

Documents Required

  • Copy of Registration Certificate.
  • Report of Activities and Participation Certificates (Mandatory).
  • Certificate of Existence from local MLA/Mamlatdar/BDO/Sarpanch.
  • List of at least 10 members with addresses.
  • ID Proof of contact person and Bank Details/Photocopy of Cheque.
