Description

The “Scheme for Supply of TV Sets to Industrial Establishments/Labour Welfare Centres/Clubs/Recreation Rooms” was launched by the Goa Labour Welfare Board to enable workers to witness programmes of national importance and promote ideas of national integration.

Benefits

  • One Coloured TV Set of up to ₹25,000, including all accessories.

NOTE 1: Incidental operation expenses must be borne by the establishment.
NOTE 2: The Board may withdraw the TV or recover the grant if provisions/agreements are not complied with.

Eligibility

The applicant should be one of the following:

  • Industrial Establishment/Labour Welfare Centre run by the Government of Goa.
  • Club/Recreation Room run by Registered Trade Unions having 300 or more Members.

Preference: Applicants situated in labor-concentrated areas.

Application Process

Offline

  • Step 1: Print the prescribed application form from the official Department website.
  • Step 2: Fill mandatory fields and attach self-attested documents.
  • Step 3: Submit through the industrial establishment to the Secretary, Goa Labour Welfare Board, Panaji.

Documents Required

  • Proof of Ownership or Authorization.
  • Documentation of any TV set already provided.
  • Specifications of the proposed TV (size, make, price/brochure).
  • Confirmation of willingness to provide accommodation and cover incidental expenses.
