The scheme “Remembering Tiatr Artistes of Yesteryears” aims to make the younger generation aware of the pioneers of Goan tiatr. It facilitates collaboration to produce shows about the lives of these artists.

Benefits

  • Financial assistance for each show (TAG fixed amount).
  • Provision of auditorium/hall or support for makeshift pandals in villages.
  • Maximum of 4 shows, including one in the artist’s residence area.
  • Video documentation preserved in the TAG library.
  • Marketing materials (banners) provided.

Conditions

  • Shows must be free to the public.
  • Duration: 2 hours for musical shows, 3 hours for tiatrs.
  • Mandatory display of TAG banner/logo.
  • Acknowledgment of TAG collaboration in all ads.
  • NOC from nearest family members of the late artist required.

Eligibility

  • Open to troupes, institutions, or individuals.
  • Program must include tiatrs/one-act plays by the late artist or musical sets of their compositions.
  • Must include a narration of the artist’s life history.
  • Inaugural show preferably in Panjim, Margao, or the artist’s village.

Application Process

Offline

  • Step 1-3: Submit the application, script, and lyrics to TAG at least 30 days in advance.
  • Post-Application: Coordinate the Chief Guest (TAG President/VP). Collect branding. After shows, submit 5 photos showing the banner and a statement of expenditure with original bills for reimbursement.

  1. Prescribed Application Form.
  2. Aadhaar and PAN copy.
  3. Typed script and lyrics.
  4. NOC from family members of the late artist.
  5. Post-Performance: Statement of expenditure, original bills, and 5 photos.
