The scheme “Promotion of Duets/Duos/Trios/Quartets/Quintets/Choral Songs” was launched by the Tiatr Academy of Goa to preserve the traditional concept of singing which has been on the decline. It ensures that the correct concept used by yesteryear artistes is followed.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be aged up to 16 years or 16-25 years.
• Compositions must be original and not recorded in audio albums or prize winners in specific major competitions.
• Singers who have participated in popular (commercial) tiatr are excluded.
• Songs must follow traditional interactive lyrics format depicting specific characters.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1-3: Submit the application form, lyrics, and age proof to Tiatr Academy of Goa, Panaji, at least 30 days before the programme. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Documents Required

• Self-Attested Copy of Birth/Baptism Certificate or School Certificate.
• Aadhaar Card copy.
• Typed copy of Lyrics in Roman Script (Handwritten not accepted).
• NOC from composer (if applicable).
