This component provides 100% reimbursement of the electricity duty paid on High Tension (HT) connections for Cold Chain Units in Goa to support the logistics sector.

Benefits

  • 100% reimbursement of electricity duty for HT connections.
  • Capped at ₹5,00,000 per unit per year.
  • Covers the most recent 12 consecutive months of duty paid.
  • Reimbursement is restricted to the duty component and excludes other electricity charges.

Eligibility

  • Operating a Cold Chain Unit in Goa.
  • Non-mega industry with PAN and regular IT filings.
  • Continuous operations for at least six months post-notification.
  • Minimum 40% local employment.
  • Billing period must fall after the 2023 policy notification.

Benefit Quantum

  • 60% or more Goan employment: 100% benefit.
  • 40% to 60% Goan employment: 80% benefit.
  • Less than 40% Goan employment: Ineligible.

Application Process

Online
Step 1: Register and apply through Goa Online portal.
Step 2: DITC performs verification and designates an inspector.
Step 3: Inspection reports are uploaded within 48 hours; IRC scrutinizes and sanctions claims. Process finishes within 90 days.

  • Details of HT Power Connection and Power Release Certificate.
  • Electricity bills and payment receipts for the claimed period.
  • Aadhaar, PAN, Trade License, and GST Certificate.
  • Payroll copy and EPF/ESI registration for employment verification.
  • Consent to Operate from GSPCB.
