Description

The “Goa State Logistics And Warehousing Incentives Scheme, 2025” provides financial assistance to the logistics and warehousing industry. The “Subsidy Towards Skill Development” component focuses on training manpower for operational tasks in the sector.

Benefits

• Reimbursement of 50% of training costs.
• Capped at ₹5,000 per person employed.
• One claim permitted per entity per year.
• Maximum of 1,000 individuals trained per year state-wide on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility

• Logistics and Warehousing service providers with a unit in Goa.
• Non-mega projects (investment < ₹100 Cr and employment < 1,000 Goans).
• Must have PAN and file regular Income Tax Returns.
• Minimum six months of continuous operations post-notification.
• Minimum 40% local employment.
• Training must be certified by Government-approved or internationally recognized institutes.

Benefit Quantum

• 60% or more Goan employment: 100% benefit.
• 40% to 60% Goan employment: 80% benefit.
• Less than 40% Goan employment: Ineligible.

Exclusion

Costs for travel, accommodation, meals, gifts, and general management training are excluded.
