The scheme “Financial Assistance to Dramatic Troupes participating in Kala Academy’s Annual Tiatr Competition” was launched by the Tiatr Academy under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to encourage non-commercial dramatic troupes participating in Kala Academy’s yearly Tiatr Festival to produce Tiatrs of better quality. The scheme provides financial support for specific aspects of drama, including Direction, Stage Setting, Live Band Music with at least 2 blowing instruments, Light Effects, Background Music, Costumes, Make-up, and Transport.
1. Financial Support
Financial support for Direction, Stage Setting, Live Band Music, Light Effects, Background Music, Costumes, Make-up, and Transport. The extent of the support shall be fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa. Direct payment to the Institution based on submitted bills.
2. Video Recording and DVD Copy
Tiatr Academy of Goa will video record the Tiatr for its Library. One free DVD copy will be provided to the Institution for preservation and use (without TAG logo).
3. Expertise and Workshops
Tiatr Academy provides expertise and mandatory workshops in different compartments of Tiatr (Direction, Music, Costumes, etc.).

Step 3: Submit to Tiatr Academy of Goa, AS-1 / AS-4, Block A, 2nd Floor, Campal Trade Centre, Panaji, Goa – 403001.
Note: Applications are considered on a ‘First Come First Serve’ basis.
At Application Stage: Typed script, typed song lyrics, self-attested Aadhaar and PAN cards, Society Registration number, email, and specific Tiatr/Kantaram details.
At Disbursal Stage: Original bills for services, statement of expenditure, and stamped receipts for amounts over ₹5,000/-.
