Launched in 2006, the “Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme” is a flagship program by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Haryana, for families who have solely girl children.
Benefits
- ₹2,750/- per month per family (Note: Some documentation may refer to ₹2,500/-, but the current rate is linked to state social security levels).
- Benefits are provided for 15 years starting when either parent reaches 45 years of age.
- Benefit is paid to the mother; if deceased, to the father.
- At age 60, this converts to the “Old Age Samman Allowance” scheme.
Eligibility
- Biological parents must be domiciled in Haryana or working for the Haryana Government.
- The family must have NO son (biological or adopted).
- The family must have one or more girl children.
- Gross annual income must not exceed ₹2,00,000/-.
Application Process
- Offline: Visit the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) to collect the form or download it online.
- Step 1: Fill the mandatory fields and paste a signed photograph.
- Step 2: Attach self-attested copies of required documents.
- Step 3: Submit the form to the DSWO and obtain a receipt.
Documents Required
- Age Proof: Birth Certificate, School Certificate (5th/8th/10th), Driving License, PAN, or Voter List.
- Residence Proof: Ration Card or Voter Card issued at least 5 years prior.
- Other: Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook, Family ID (PPP), Income Certificate, and Caste Certificate (if applicable).
