Integrated Horticulture Development Plan Scheme for Scheduled Caste Families

The scheme “Integrated Horticulture Development Plan Scheme for Scheduled Caste Families”, implemented by the Department of Horticulture, Government of Haryana, aims to promote diversification into horticultural crops to improve the income and livelihood of scheduled castes farmers who have small landholdings.

Objectives

To encourage SC farmers to take horticultural crops as a diversification option.
To acquaint SC farmers with latest technologies in horticulture.
To increase the income of SC families by adopting high-value horticultural crops.

Benefits

90% subsidy on components like Mushroom Trays, Bamboo Stacking in vegetable crops, and Protected Structures (Poly House/Net House/Walk-in-Tunnels).
90% subsidy for cultivation of High-Value vegetables/flowers under protected structures.
Free training on various aspects of horticultural crop cultivation technologies.

Eligibility

The applicant should be a farmer and a resident of Haryana.
The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste community.
The applicant should own or lease agricultural land.
The scheme specifically targets SC families with small landholdings.

Application Process

The application process for this scheme is Offline:

Step 1: Visit the respective District Horticulture Office.
Step 2: Collect the prescribed application form and attach necessary documents.
Step 3: Submit the completed application form at the concerned office.
Step 4: After verification, the applicant will receive confirmation of registration.
