Eligibility

  • Traditional fisherman by birth or profession and resident of Goa.
  • Canoe must be registered under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
  • Must be a member of a Registered Fisheries Co-operative Society/Association or an Individual.
  • Must not be a defaulter of the Directorate of Fisheries.
  • Out Board Motors (OBM) must be 10HP or below and incorporated on the vessel.

Application Process

Offline:

Step 1: Obtain the prescribed application form.

Step 2: Fill the form and attach self-attested documents.

Step 3: Submit to the Department of Fisheries, Panaji, or BDO/Sub-Offices.

  • Certificate of Vessel Registration (with OBM incorporated).
  • Fishing Vessel License Certificate and Fishing Net License Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  • Aadhaar Card and ECS Mandate Form.
  • Self Declaration.
  • Original bill (from petrol pump owner).
  • Petrol Consumption Passbook.
