The scheme “Financial Assistance To Purchase Singel Net / Small Rampon Net & Its Accessories” is a scheme by the Department of Fisheries, Government of Goa. Through this scheme, a 50% subsidy is provided to the fishermen of Goa for the purchase of Singel Net/ Small Rampon Net and its accessories.

Benefits

  • Subsidy to the extent of 50% of the actual cost limited to ₹ 50,000/- for the purchase of Singel Net/ Small Rampon Net and its accessories, every five years.

Eligibility

  • Traditional fisherman by birth or profession and resident of Goa.
  • Must belong to the OBC (Kharvi) Community.
  • Grandparents must be residents of Goa.
  • Fishermen shall not possess registered fishing canoes or fishing trawlers.
  • Only one household member can avail of the benefit.

Application Process

Offline:

Step 1: Obtain the prescribed application form.

Step 2: Fill all fields and attach self-attested documents.

Step 3: Submit to the Department of Fisheries, Patto Colony, Panaji, or BDO/Sub-Offices.

Documents Required

  • Certificate of Vessel Registration (if applicable).
  • Fishing Vessel and Net License Certificates.
  • Updated Fishing Netbook.
  • Original GST Bill from Authorized Dealer.
  • Caste Certificate (OBC/SC/ST) if applicable.
  • Aadhar Card, Election Card, and Bank Passbook (Aadhaar linked).
  • Inspection Report with photographs.
