The “Haryana Provision of Sports Equipment Scheme” provides equipment to Gram Panchayats and Municipal bodies to encourage sports like Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Handball, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, and Cricket. A proper Field of Play (FoP) must be available.

Benefits (Equipment per Sport)

• Volleyball/Football/Basketball/Handball: Up to 6 Balls and Net.
• Boxing: 6 Punching Bags and 12 pairs of gloves.
• Wrestling/Judo: 18-piece Mats (1m x 2m x 5cm) with cover.
• Cricket: Kit including 2 bats, 2 wicket sets, 6 balls, padding, and gloves.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a Municipal Body or Gram Panchayat of Haryana.
• Field of Play (FOP) must be available in the town/village.

Application Process

Offline:

Step 1: Print the prescribed application format.
Step 2: Fill mandatory fields and paste latest photos of the Field of Play (with date and location).
Step 3: Submit the form to the District Sports Officer.
Step 4: Collect an acknowledgement receipt.

Note: Municipal Body applications are submitted by ward members/counselors; Gram Panchayat applications by Sarpanch or Gram Sachiv.

Documents Required

• Latest photographs of the Field of Play showing date and location.
