The scheme “Financial Assistance for Hostel Facility in Professional/Technical Institutions” is implemented by the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB). Under this scheme, the Board provides financial assistance of up to ₹1,20,000/- to the children of construction workers for hostel facilities.

Benefits

Assistance up to ₹1,20,000/- provided directly to the Government/Recognized institute. Admission expenses are reimbursed upon production of original receipts.

Eligibility

• Worker must be registered with HBOCWWB with at least one year of regular membership.
• Worker must have active membership.
• Children must be pursuing regular technical/professional courses.
• Available for up to three children per worker.

Exclusion

• No assistance if the student fails in the same class.
• Employed or self-employed students are ineligible.

Application Process

Register as a construction worker on the Labour Department Haryana website. Once work experience (90 days) is approved, login to apply for scheme benefits through the HBOCW Board Beneficiary Login.

• Continuing studies certificate from the institution.
• Verification Certificate (for private institutes).
• Undertaking/Declaration.
