The scheme provides financial support for children up to 21 years old who are deprived of parental support due to death, absence, imprisonment, or incapacity of parents.

Benefits

Monthly allowance of ₹1850/- per child (w.e.f. 01.04.2023), limited to a maximum of two children per family.

Eligibility

  • Domicile and resident of Haryana.
  • Child age under 21 years.
  • Family income from all sources not exceeding ₹2,00,000/- per annum.
  • Reasons for deprivation: Death, absence for 2 years, imprisonment (1 year+), or incapacity.
  • Exclusion: Parents/guardians employed by Govt/Local body drawing pension are ineligible.

Application Process

Offline/Online: Collect/download form from the Social Welfare Department (DSWO). Submit the filled form with attestation to the DSWO office.

Documents Required

Age proof (School certificate/Affidavit), Residence proof (Ration card/Voter card), Saving bank account passbook, Family ID (PPP), Death certificate of father or other support documents, Income certificate.
