The scheme “Umbrella Assistance Scheme” is implemented by the UKBOCWWB to provide free umbrellas to registered construction workers for weather protection.
Benefits
An umbrella is provided once in a lifetime to registered construction workers to protect them from rain and sunlight.
Eligibility
- Must be a construction worker registered with the UKBOCWWB.
Application Process
Online
Submit applications through Shramik Suvidha Kendras. Umbrellas are provided following departmental investigation and verification of the Shramik Card.
Documents Required
- Labour/Shramik Card and Aadhaar Card.
- Self-Declaration Certificate.
- Certificate confirming no similar benefit has been availed elsewhere.
