“Rajya / Mukhyamantri Swarn / Rajat Padak Protsahan Puraskar” implemented by the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand, aims to promote excellence in National Cadet Corps (NCC) training by incentivizing high-performing cadets. Through this scheme, cadets who win gold or silver medals during RDC, TSC, VSC, or NSC are awarded cash prizes.

Benefits

• Gold Medal Winners: A cash award of ₹3,000/- each is given to 6 cadets.
• Silver Medal Winners: A cash award of ₹2,000/- each is given to 6 cadets.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be an NCC cadet.
• The applicant must have demonstrated outstanding performance in camps: RDC, TSC, VSC, or NSC during the current training year.
• The applicant must be among the top performers for the respective medals.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: Application forms are filled by NCC Units.
Step 2: Forwarded to Group Headquarters.
Step 3: Verification by Group Headquarters.
Step 4: Sent to the Directorate.
Step 5: Board of Officers scrutinizes the applications.
Step 6: Awards allocated based on performance.
