The scheme “Rafting Course & Internship” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board under the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to train and certify youth of Uttarakhand, aged 18 to 30 years, as skilled and professional river rafting guides.

Benefits

The beneficiary will receive training and internship opportunities to become a river rafting guide.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a youth of Uttarakhand.
• The applicant must be between 18 to 30 years of age.
• The applicant must be educated.
• The applicant must be mentally and physically healthy.
• A total of 215 beneficiaries will be selected.

Application Process

Offline

Applicants must complete the prescribed application form and submit it with required documents to the District Tourism Development Officer. Shortlisted candidates are forwarded to the headquarters for final selection by a committee.
