The scheme “Mukhyamantri Nishulk Gas Refill Yojana” was launched by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to support poor families holding Antyodaya (pink) ration cards in the state by reducing their household fuel expenses.
Benefits
Under this scheme, Antyodaya ration card (pink card) holders in the state are entitled to receive 03 free gas cylinder refills every year.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must hold an Antyodaya (pink card) ration card issued by the state.
Application Process
Offline
- Lists of eligible cardholders are provided by District Supply Officers to local gas agencies.
- Cardholders must link their ration card, Aadhaar, and bank account with the gas agency.
- To receive the free refill, the cardholder pays the full price upfront and collects the cylinder.
- The cost is then reimbursed directly to the bank account via DBT. One refill can be claimed every four months.
