The “Mukhyamantri Kaushal Unnayan and Vaishvik Rojgar Yojana” was launched by the Department of Skill Development and Employment, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide skill upgradation training along with country-specific training to the youth of the state, enabling them to secure employment opportunities abroad.

Benefits

Under this scheme, youth of Uttarakhand are provided with skill upgradation training in various domains such as language, culture, work ethics, nursing, and hospitality, along with country-specific training. The training is provided as per the demand of foreign employers to enable the youth to secure suitable service and job opportunities abroad.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a youth of Uttarakhand.

• Youth interested in overseas employment can register on the Apuni Sarkar portal.
• Registration requires basic details, preferred field of work, education certificates, and passport information.
• After registration, applicants will be invited for a screening test. Those who qualify become eligible for training.
• Upon selection, candidates must submit Aadhaar, bank details, and residence certificate.
• The State Government bears 20% of the total training cost.
• If a trainee takes a loan for up to 60% of the cost, the Government subsidizes 75% of the loan interest.
• Trainees can apply for the loan during the training period.
• After training, the employing company conducts a test/interview. Only successful candidates are sent for overseas employment.
• Registration remains open throughout the year.
