The “Minority Scholarship Scheme for Class 1 to 10” was launched by the Minority Welfare Department, Uttarakhand, for students in recognized government and non-government institutions.

Benefits

Monthly scholarship rates:

• Class 1 to 5: ₹50/-
• Class 6 to 8: ₹80/-
• Class 9 to 10: ₹120/-

Eligibility

• Belong to a minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi, Buddhist, or Jain).
• Studying in Classes 1 to 10 in a recognized school in Uttarakhand.

Application Process

Online: https://scholarships.gov.in/

Register on National Scholarship Portal (NSP 2.0) using Aadhaar. Upload mandatory documents and submit offline copies to the school for verification. Funds are transferred via DBT.

• Aadhaar card and Bank account linked with Aadhaar
• Permanent residence certificate
• Self-declaration of minority community
• Income certificate
• Passport-size photograph
