Overview

The scheme “Loktantra Senani Samman Pension (Police Line Yojana)” is implemented by the Police Department under the Department of Home, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance in the form of a monthly pension to democracy fighters of the state who were imprisoned under MISA/DIR during the Emergency period (25.06.1975 to 21.03.1977).

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
• The applicant must have been imprisoned under MISA/DIR during the emergency period (25 June 1975 to 21 March 1977).

Application Process

Offline

The application must be submitted to the concerned District Magistrate. Based on the DM’s recommendation, the pension is sanctioned at the government level following approval from the Departmental Minister or the Chief Minister.
