The scheme “Hands-on Training and Exposure Visits under Experiential Learning” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC) under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Uttarakhand. It aims to enhance scientific understanding and practical skills among researchers, professors, and students by providing one-week residential hands-on training and exposure visits in collaboration with reputed institutions.
Free residential one-week hands-on training (certificate programme) sessions are being organized on various subjects to provide practical knowledge to the researchers, professors, and students of the state in collaboration with various institutions, in which UG/PG students, researchers, and teachers from higher education institutions across all districts of the state are participating. Meals are also provided free of cost during this residential training.
Graduates/postgraduate students, researchers, and professors from all educational institutions (both government and private) across Uttarakhand are eligible to participate.
Online
Students must first have their applications forwarded by their respective college or university and submit them to USERC through a Google Form. USERC then carries out the selection process (complete applications with the desired training subject and required qualifications are selected on a first-come, first-served basis), after which the selected students receive free residential training.
Submission of documents is required as per the guidelines of the respective college or university to participate in the training programs.
