The scheme “Construction of Sports Infrastructure Facilities” was launched by the Department of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide grants for the construction of sports infrastructure facilities, including Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash, Indoor Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Hockey, and Swimming, in the private sector.

Benefits

Under this scheme, 25% of the total cost of the infrastructure, or up to a maximum of ₹50.00 lakh, is provided as a grant.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.

Application Process

Offline

The Department plans to provide grants to the citizens of the state for the construction of sports infrastructure. The grant will cover 25% of the total cost, up to a maximum of ₹50 lakh. These facilities can also generate employment through their operation. Applications must be submitted offline in the prescribed format at the Directorate of Sports. Applicants can submit their applications at any time, as per requirement. Grants will be awarded to eligible applicants by the committee constituted for the scheme.
