Launched in April 1999, this scheme provides one-time financial assistance in cases of accidental death or serious injury. Sanctioned by the District Collector, it serves as a critical support mechanism for residents of Rajasthan.

Benefits

  • Serious injury: Up to ₹ 20,000 based on severity.

Eligibility

  • Victim must be a resident of Rajasthan.
  • In case of death, assistance is for dependent parents, spouse, or children.
  • Special cases (grandparents/siblings) require CMO consent.
  • Application must be made within 6 months of the accident.
  • Murder/Rape cases are handled under the Rajasthan Victim Compensation Scheme.

Exclusions

  • No double payment for the same case.
  • Property loss (fire, etc.) is not covered.
  • Suicide is excluded.
  • Not available if assistance is due from other state schemes or if the family is already capable.

Send a request letter and documents to cmrf.cmo@rajasthan.gov.in or apply in person to the Tehsil/District Collector’s Office or the Chief Accounts Officer (CAO) at the Government Secretariat, Jaipur.

  • Proof of Identity (Applicant and Deceased).
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Medical Report (Injured) or Post Mortem/Inquest Report (Death).
  • FIR Report (Mandatory).
  • Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, and Bank Passbook/Canceled Cheque.
  • Income Certificate/Proof.
  • Treatment Estimate by Doctor.
