This scheme supports Scheduled Tribe (ST) research scholars from specific areas of Rajasthan to pursue Ph.D. programs at any recognized university in India. It is implemented by the M.L. Verma Tribal Research & Training Institute, Udaipur.

Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pali, Sirohi, Udaipur, Baran, Rajsamand, Pratapgarh.

Benefits

  • Monthly Fellowship: ₹ 15,000/-.
  • Contingency Grant: ₹ 40,000/- for books, traveling, and stationery.
  • Tenure: Maximum 5 years or completion of Ph.D.

Eligibility

  • Native of Rajasthan belonging to the ST community.
  • Resident of Scheduled Areas or Saheria Project Area (Baran district).
  • Post-graduation with at least 50% marks.
  • Registered in a recognized Central/State/Deemed/Private University for Ph.D.

Application Process

Offline:

  • Download the application from the official website or collect from M.L. Verma Tribal Research Institute.
  • Submit the filled form with signatures from the Supervisor and Head of Department.
  • A Screening Committee will conduct interviews and final selection.
  • Applications are typically submitted in July.

  • Bank Passbook and educational marksheets.
