Benefits

• Monthly Honorarium: ₹ 15,000/-.
• Widow Benefit: 50% of the amount in case of the journalist’s death.
• Duration: Paid for up to 5 years (subject to review).
• Disbursement: Direct Bank Transfer.

Eligibility

• Full-time accredited journalist aged 60 or older.
• Minimum 20 years of continuous service in media.
• Must have been accredited with the Dept of Information and Public Relations, Rajasthan for at least 10 years.
• Must not be receiving salary, pension, or regular state assistance elsewhere.
• Must not be an income tax payee (Affidavit required).
• No criminal cases registered.

Application Process

Offline:

• Download form from the official website.
• Submit filled form and self-attested documents to the Information and Public Relations Department or Accreditation Committee.
• Final approval is granted by the State Government after verification.

• Passport-size Photo and Age proof.
• Qualification and Experience (20 years) certificates.
• Accreditation Certificate (10 years).
• Self-Declaration Affidavit (₹50 Stamp Paper) for non-income tax status.
• NOC from affiliated media house.
• Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque.
• Proof of no criminal record.
