Benefits
- Monthly Honorarium: ₹ 15,000/-.
- Widow Benefit: 50% of the amount in case of the journalist’s death.
- Duration: Paid for up to 5 years (subject to review).
- Disbursement: Direct Bank Transfer.
Eligibility
- Full-time accredited journalist aged 60 or older.
- Minimum 20 years of continuous service in media.
- Must have been accredited with the Dept of Information and Public Relations, Rajasthan for at least 10 years.
- Must not be receiving salary, pension, or regular state assistance elsewhere.
- Must not be an income tax payee (Affidavit required).
- No criminal cases registered.
Application Process
Offline:
- Download form from the official website.
- Submit filled form and self-attested documents to the Information and Public Relations Department or Accreditation Committee.
- Final approval is granted by the State Government after verification.
Documents Required
- Passport-size Photo and Age proof.
- Qualification and Experience (20 years) certificates.
- Accreditation Certificate (10 years).
- Self-Declaration Affidavit (₹50 Stamp Paper) for non-income tax status.
- NOC from affiliated media house.
- Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque.
- Proof of no criminal record.
