The “Panchayat Samiti Nandishala Jan Sahbhagita Yojana”, launched in 2021-22 by the Animal Husbandry Department, Rajasthan, aims to support the construction of permanent infrastructure for the shelter of stray male cattle in each Panchayat Samiti.

One-time assistance of 90% of the total construction cost.

Eligibility

• Eligible entities: local bodies, Panchayati Raj institutions, registered trusts, NGOs, and government-recognized institutions.
• Organization must have been operational for at least 3 years.
• Ownership of 20 bighas of private land to sustain 250 male cattle.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating a cattle shelter.
• Availability of 10% contribution towards the project cost.

• Step 1: Obtain the form from the Office of the District Joint Director, Animal Husbandry Department.
• Step 2: Review tender notices and apply online as per guidelines.
• Step 3: Submit the application form with documents.
• Step 4: Await verification and approval.
