Benefits

Monthly Stipend (maximum reimbursement rates):

  • School: ₹1,000.
  • Military/Sainik/Special Schools: ₹2,000.
  • Diploma in Polytechnic: ₹800.
  • NDA/IMA: ₹2,000.
  • Bachelor Degree: ₹1,000.
  • Master Degree: ₹1,500.
  • Professional Course (MBBS/BE/BTech): ₹2,000.

*The rate listed above or actual cost, whichever is less, is reimbursed.

Eligibility

  • Ward of an Unemployed ESM / Ward of the Widow of an ESM.
  • Registered with the Department of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry.
  • Studying in a Government-recognized Institution.
  • Applicable for up to two wards.

Exclusion

  • Repeating a class.
  • Already receiving an academic scholarship or other fee reimbursement.

Application Process

Offline

  • Step 1: Print the prescribed application form.
  • Step 2: Fill mandatory fields and attach self-attested documents.
  • Step 3: Submit to the Rajya Sainik Board, Lawspet Main Road, Puducherry within three months of course completion.
  • Step 4: Receive an application receipt.

Documents Required

  • Identity Card of the ESM / Widow.
  • Discharge Certificate.
  • Proof of successful completion and original fee receipts (with breakdown).
  • Management Quota certificate (if applicable).
  • Birth and Study certificates of the Ward.
  • First Page of Bank Passbook.
