The scheme “Mukhyamantri Vishesh Yogyajan Swaraozgar Yojana” was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to specially-abled individuals for self-employment. Under this scheme, an amount of ₹5,00,000/- will be made available as a loan to specially-abled individuals in the state whose annual income, including that of their family, is up to ₹2,00,000/-, to help them start their own self-employment. A grant of 50% of the loan amount or a maximum of ₹50,000/-, whichever is less, will be provided.

Benefits

• Financial Assistance: Loan up to ₹5,00,000/- for starting self-employment.
• Subsidy: 50% of the loan amount or a maximum of ₹50,000, whichever is lower.
• NOTE: The loan is provided as one-time financial support.

Eligibility

• The applicant should be a specially-abled person as per the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995.
• The applicant should have a minimum disability of 40% or more.
• The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.
• The applicant should be between 18 and 55 years of age.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed ₹2,00,000/- from all sources.
• The applicant should not have availed of benefits under any other self-employment subsidy scheme.
• The applicant should not have any overdue loans from banks or government institutions.
• The applicant should possess a valid disability certificate and passbook.

Offline Application Process:

• Step 1: Visit the office of the District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer for a hard copy or download it from the official website.
• Step 2: Fill all mandatory fields and attach self-attested copies of documents.
• Step 3: Submit the application to the District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer.
• Step 4: Request an acknowledgment receipt with the submission date and identification number.

Post-Application Process:

• Verification of eligibility is done within one month.
• The application is forwarded to the concerned bank for loan approval. After bank approval, the grant is sanctioned.
