Krishi Yantra

The Krishi Yantra Scheme under the Agriculture Department of Rajasthan provides subsidies for the purchase of farming equipment from authorized dealers. This aims to help farmers mechanize their operations conveniently.

Payment of Grant

Physical verification is conducted by the Agriculture Supervisor/Assistant Agriculture Officer.
The purchase bill must be presented at the time of verification.
The grant is paid online directly into the farmer’s bank account.

Grant Details (Benefits)

The following subsidies apply based on category and equipment BHP (Brake Horse Power):

Seed drill / Fertilizer drill: SC/ST/Small/Marginal/Women: 50% (max ₹15,000-₹28,000); Others: 40% (max ₹12,000-₹22,400).
Disc Plough / Disc Harrow: SC/ST/Small/Marginal/Women: 50% (max ₹20,000-₹50,000); Others: 40% (max ₹16,000-₹40,000).
Rotovator: SC/ST/Small/Marginal/Women: 50% (max ₹42,000-₹50,400); Others: 40% (max ₹34,000-₹40,300).
Multi crop thresher: SC/ST/Small/Marginal/Women: 50% (max ₹30,000-₹1,00,000); Others: 40% (max ₹25,000-₹80,000).
Ridge Furrow Planter / Ripper: SC/ST/Small/Marginal/Women: 50% (max ₹30,000-₹75,000); Others: 40% (max ₹24,000-₹60,000).
Chisel plow: SC/ST/Small/Marginal/Women: 50% (max ₹10,000-₹20,000); Others: 40% (max ₹8,000-₹16,000).

Note: Subsidies on other machinery are as per SMAM and NFSM (Wheat and Pulses) provisions.

Eligibility

Applicant must own agricultural land in their name (or in revenue records for undivided families).
For tractor-operated tools, the tractor must be registered in the applicant’s name.
Must not have received a grant for the same tool in the last 3 years.
Must not have received grants for more than 3 different types of implements in one financial year.

Application Process

Registration: Register on the SSO portal via SSO Register using Jan Aadhaar or Google.
Apply: Login, select “RAJ-KISAN”, and under “Citizen” (or Farmer), click “Application Entry Request”. Enter Jan Aadhaar, select the scheme, and complete Aadhaar Authentication. Provide bank and document details, then submit.
