The “Kasturba Gandhi Special Term Deposit Receipt Scheme” was launched by the Department of Education, Government of Rajasthan. It supports girls who complete Class 8 from Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ Schools (KGBV) and continue their regular studies in government schools.
Step 1: The applicant should contact their respective school.
Step 2: Eligible students are identified by the head of the institution.
Step 3: Submit copies of mandatory documents to the school.
Step 4: The school logs into the Shala Darpan Portal using their credentials.
Step 5: The school fills and submits the application form on behalf of the student.
Applications are forwarded to the District Education Officer (DEO) and subsequently to the Directorate of Secondary Education, Bikaner for verification and processing.
