The Taarbandi Scheme for Fields was launched on July 21, 2017, under the Agriculture Department of the Rajasthan government. The primary objective is to safeguard crops from damage caused by stray animals. The scheme offers financial assistance for the installation of barbed wire fencing enclosures around fields.

Priority Categories

  • Scheduled Caste: 17.83% participation.
  • Scheduled Tribe: 13.48% participation.
  • Women category farmers: 30.0% participation priority.

Benefits

  • Small and marginal farmers: 60% of the total cost, capped at ₹48,000/-.
  • Other farmers: 50% of the total cost, capped at ₹40,000/-.
  • Community application (group of 10+ farmers with min. 5 hectares collectively): 70% of the total cost, capped at ₹56,000/- per farmer.
  • Land covered: Up to 400 meters of fencing per farmer.

Eligibility

  • Available to all categories of farmers.
  • Individual applicants must possess a minimum of 1.5 hectares of land at a single location.
  • In Scheduled Tribe areas, the minimum land requirement is 0.5 hectares at one location.
  • For community applications, a group of 10 or more farmers must collectively own at least 5 hectares.

Application Process

Steps to Apply:

  1. Register/Login on the SSO portal using Jan Aadhaar or Google.
  2. Select the “RAJ-KISAN” option on the dashboard.
  3. In “Farmer”, click on “Application Entry Request”.
  4. Enter “Bhamashah ID” or “Janaadhaar ID” and search.
  5. Select the person name and scheme.
  6. Complete Aadhaar Authentication.
  7. Provide required details (Bank, land, etc.) and upload documents.
  8. Submit.
