The scheme “Award of Scholarship to the Cadets Belonging to UT of Puducherry and Studying in Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun” is a Scholarship Scheme by the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry.

Objective

To extend scholarships worth ₹20,000/- per annum to cadets from economically weak backgrounds selected for admission into RIMC, Dehradun.

Benefits

• Scholarship: ₹20,000/- per annum per cadet.
• Mode of Disbursal: Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) through the Electronic Clearance System (ECS).

Eligibility

• The applicant should be a citizen of India.
• Belong to the UT of Puducherry (birth or domicile for 5 years).
• Currently studying at Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: Visit the Principal, RIMC, Dehradun, to request the prescribed application form.
• Step 2: Fill out the form and attach mandatory documents.
• Step 3: Submit the application to the Principal, who will forward it to the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry.

• Aadhaar Card.
• Residential/Domicile Certificate (Deputy Tahsildar level).
