Launched Nov 1, 2020 by WCD Dept in five tribal districts: Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Udaipur, and Baran. It provides conditional cash benefits for the second child to improve maternal/child nutrition and reduce mortality.

Benefits

Financial assistance of ₹6,000/- in five installments:

1st Pregnancy registration at Anganwadi & check-up within 120 days. ₹1,000
2nd Completion of 2nd antenatal check-up (6th month). ₹1,000
3rd Institutional delivery and registration of birth. ₹1,000
4th Administration of 3 key immunizations (BCG, OPV, etc.) within 105 days. ₹2,000
5th Measles vaccination and weight measurement (9th month). ₹1,000

Mode: DBT to bank account.

Eligibility

  • Married woman, resident of Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara, Udaipur, or Baran.
  • Pregnant with second child on/after Nov 1, 2020 (or 1st ANC after that date).
  • Institutional delivery required. Max 2 living children.
  • Anganwadi workers/Asha Sahyogis also eligible.

Exclusion

Central/State/PSU employees; women with twins in 1st pregnancy; cases of remarriage where couple already has children from previous marriage.

Application Process (Offline)

  • Step 1: Register second pregnancy at local Anganwadi within 120 days of LMP.
  • Step 2: Provide Jan-Aadhaar/Bhamashah ID and mobile number for PCTS recording.
  • Workers (Anganwadi, ASHA, ANM) ensure data is recorded in Mamta card/RCH register.
