Under this scheme, the Social Welfare Department of Karnataka will provide incentives to Simple Married Couples belonging to the SC Community who have submitted their applications within 1 year of marriage. Only couples who got married on or after 11-08-2015 are eligible for the incentive, which is set at Rs. 50,000.00.
To be eligible for the scheme, the applicant must be a resident of Karnataka state, belong to the SC community, and have a family income from all sources that does not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. It is important to note that the scheme is applicable within 1 year of marriage

Eligibility
Karnataka State Resident: The applicant must be a resident of Karnataka state.

Exclusion
Non-SC Community: The scheme is only applicable to Simple Married Couples belonging to the SC community. Couples belonging to other communities are not eligible for the incentive.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Social Welfare Department of Karnataka.
Step 2: Click on the “Incentive for Simple Marriage” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Read the eligibility criteria and guidelines carefully before applying.
Step 4: Click on the “Apply Online” button to proceed with the application.
Step 5: Fill out the application form with all the necessary details such as personal information, income details, and marriage details.
Step 6: Upload the required documents such as Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Bank Passbook, Marriage Registration Certificate, Marriage Photo, and mobile number.
Step 7: Review the application form and ensure that all the information provided is accurate.
Step 8: Click on the “Submit” button to complete the application process.
Step 9: After submission, an SMS will be sent to the couple, and they can print the acknowledgement form as proof of application.
Step 10: Social Welfare will do document verification to verify the details provided by the couple and process the application further.
Step 11: After the application is approved, the incentive will be credited to the joint bank account of the couple.
